Wellness influencer Bianca Cheah hiring a boat in Positano

The One Thing You Should Always Do In Positano (That You Probably Don’t Do)

This was my first time in Positano—and won’t be my last. There’s so much to do in Positano and it’s truly the most stunning place I’ve ever been to, but if you’re looking to escape the crowds for some ‘me’ time, then you’ll need to do a bit more research than just hanging out by the beach and cafes. Positano is filled with packed restaurants, crowded walkways with way too many tourist groups. I was constantly darting in and around people, the roads are bumper to bumper with cars and buses packed liked sardines in a can with vendors on every corner—it’s chaos—but a good one! As I’m a bit of an introvert and love my own time with no one around me, we decided to hire a boat. And I mean all to ourselves. Take note, most companies won’t let you hire a boat, because you need an Italian boat license to drive one. So, the only one you will be able to hire is a little 26-foot Gozzo Aprea Timber boat. And to …

Here’s An Easy 5 Min Yoga Workout You Can Do Anywhere

Sometimes it’s not easy to get to the gym, let alone buying expensive gym equipment. So here I’ve created a mini yoga sequence that aims to tone and strengthen the upper body, thighs, and bottom. With the use of just 2 x 500 ml water bottles and this simple sequence, training can become a lot more accessible for anyone, including me! All you need are 2 weights. When I’m practicing in a studio I’ll grab 2 x 1 kg weights, but for this exercise, in hot Abu Dhabi, I wanted to show you that you CAN use anything that you have in your kitchen or home. PS – I totally lost the voice footage from this video so I’ve had to re-edit and voice over the top. hahahaha so sorry. Number 1 rule of creating video….check that the mic is recording!! Ok, any questions just comment below. XX Music by Dixxy Shot on location in Abu Dhabi Wearing abi and joseph

Qasr Al Sarab Anantara, Bianca Cheah, UAE Desert, desert resort UAE, Abu Dhabi

I Stayed At The Qasr Al Sarab Resort In Abu Dhabi And Here’s What It Looked Like…

It’s not often I get the chance to travel for myself. Most of the time I’m travelling for work, sourcing what’s news in the fitness and wellness world to bring back to http://www.sporteluxe.com. While I must admit, it’s been an awesome opportunity to travel the world for work, but finding the time to enjoy it on my own accord is at the most of times…non existent (sad face). Late night calls with plenty of documenting, finding the perfect picture to take, meetings and more meetings….then the time left for me is the time when my head hits that pillow. But it wasn’t until last week that I had a travel experience that changed me… Two weeks ago when work was getting the better of me (tiredness and bags under my eyes were a common occurrence), my husband surprised me with a trip to the UAE. My first thought was… Oh goodness all I am craving are blue crystal waters and a white sandy beach for a revival. But little did I know that this trip to the UAE desert …

Practicing Yoga In The Desert Was The Most Moving Experience

The UAE desert is a hot, dry and overwhelming place for some. For me, it stood as a magical moving destination where it not only gave me a new outlook on life, but can be counted as one of the most inspiring places I’ve ever been to in my life. It took just only three and a half hours to drive from Dubai through the dry baron and sandy landscape of UAE to the outskirts near the Saudi Arabia border to finally be greeted to an oasis of sand castles, trees and water. Meet Qasr Al Sarab and the Liwa Desert. Fast forward checking in, lunch, drinks and dinner, we finally woke the next day (jet lagged) when daylight just broke above the sand dunes. So my husband and I sprinted out of bed and up to the sand dunes to capture the sereneness of the land which is what you see below. Please note that these images in no way represent what we saw. Through our own eyes, it was so much more vast, colourful, grand and enchanting…something …

Peninsula Hong Kong, Bianca Cheah

Travel Diary: I Stayed At The The Peninsula, Hong Kong

In the bustling busyness, km’s of towering skyscrapers and neon lights of the night, meet Hong Kong. As I look around, I’m greeted with (too many to count) buildings after buildings… but there nestled in Kowloon sits The Peninsula Hong Kong. Overlooking the Victoria Harbour (which at night-time is a sea of lights), the stunning hotel boasts 300 newly renovated guest rooms including 53 suites (of which I was extremely privileged to experience) all featuring personalized in-room technology. At the touch of the screen, I could dim the lights, play my favorite classical piano music, watch a movie or close the blinds. As much as I didn’t want to leave the suite (why would you?), the hotel features a very large gym where you most likely will have a treadmill all to yourself. Walk 10 metres down the corridor and I’m greeted to a world-class spa that spans over two levels of the hotel. If you really want to be pampered ask for the couples spa suite where you can lay in your own private jacuzzi that overlooks the bay …

Pier One Sydney Might Be The Only Hotel In Sydney That’s Pet-Friendly

Summer is almost here (woof woof!) so to celebrate I decided to take a well-deserved dog-escape with my mum Bianca Cheah and aunty Chloe Morello to the (luxe) pet-friendly hotel, Pier One Hotel in Sydney. Boasting all the amenities one might want for an indulgent night away with their pet, including a cosy trampoline bed (perfect for my snoring afternoon naps) and pamper services, I was in doggy-heaven. Whilst, my human friends also enjoyed some R&R and loved watching the sunset from our luxurious harbour view room sipping on champagne. But want to know the best part? The doggy dinner menu! Oh I’m still drooling at the thought. With all dishes made from fresh daily produce, free from onion, garlic and acid, The Gantry Restaurant & Bar wins paws down! I’m talking tender chicken thigh fillets with carrots, rib eye steak with steamed baby potatoes, grilled sea trout with broccolini or ground short rib sautéed with fresh farm vegetables. We chose to eat in the restaurant, but if you’re feeling particularly relaxed room service is also available. So if you really want to spoil yourself, it …

Fiji Was A Mini Digital Detox For Me

So the next stop on my map is the beautiful island of Fiji. As you can see, the small island is surrounded by crystal clear waters, golden white sandy beaches, and warm sunny weather. The kind of holiday that I’ve been yearning all year. It’s day three as I write this travel edit in my little beach bungalow whilst watching a move in bed. So far, my days have been filled with tennis, hitting golf balls down at the range, long relaxing beach walks and enjoying delicious foods made by the locals. To tell you the truth it’s been super relaxing and it’s something that I’ve needed. I call it my digital detox, even though I still am kinda working on my lappy. I still consider it a detox. If anyone knows me well, I’m known for not ever sitting still. I love the fact that around every corner there’s always a photo opportunity. So I’m always on the hunt for that perfect photo. As a matter of fact, anything inspires me…so for day five, I think it’s …
